How to Make Mughlai Chicken Roast

Mughlai Chicken Roast is a dish for special occasions or can be eaten with plain boil rice.

Ingredients:

  1. Whole chicken – 1 ½kg give deep cuts
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  3. Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  4. Salt – 1 ½ tsp
  5. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  6. Yogurt – 1 cup whipped
  7. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  8. Onion – 1 chopped
  9. Saffron – ¼ tsp
  10. Kewra water – 1 tbsp
  11. Whole green chilies – 3
  12. Oil – ¼ cup

Method:

Take a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, yogurt and lemon juice, mix and apply on chicken, leave for 1 hour. Then heat up oil and fry onion until light golden, then add marinated chicken, fry for 2 to 3 minutes, add remaining mixture of marination, cover and cook on slow flame for 30 minutes till chicken is tender. Then add saffron, kewra, garam masala powder and green chilies, cover for 5 minutes. Garnish with boiled eggs and serve with fries.
