Easy Cake Rusk Recipe
Ingredients:
- Flour – 4 ounce or 1 cup
- Eggs – 3
- Sugar – 100 gm
- Butter – 100 gm
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence or lemon essence – 1 tsp
- Yellow food colour – few drops
- Milk – as required
Method:
- Take a bowl and put sugar and butter and beat until creamy.
- Strain baking powder and flour.
- Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp dry mixture and beat well.
- Then put remaining dry mixture, vanilla essence or lemon essence and yellow colour, mix well.
- Check consistency of mixture and add milk. Now put this mixture in 6 inch square cake pan and bake in preheated oven on180ºC for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Then take it out from the oven and let it cool down for about 5 min, then cut in slices and again bake until crispy and golden brown on 150ºC for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Now enjoy Cake Rusk with tea.
