How to Make Chicken Chana Handi: English – Urdu Recipe
Everybody like Chicken in any kind of way, karahi, roast with vegetables or in a simple way, but now try Chicken Chana Handi with chickpeas. It will give you a different and delicious taste.
Chicken Chana Handi
Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken – 750 gm
- Boiled chickpeas – 3 cups
- Oil – 1/2 cup
- Butter – 1/4 cup
- Onion – 1 chopped
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Degi Mirch – 1 tsp
- Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
- Blended tomato – 3
- Green chili – 8
- Salt – to taste
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
- Knorr cube – 1
- Cream – 1/4 cup
- Ginger flakes – 1 tbsp
- Fried crushed cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Take a pot, heat up oil and fry onion until light golden brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, degi mirch, red chili, coriander powder and salt, mix well.
- Then add tomato and yogurt, fry well.
- Now add chicken and fry well.
- Then add chicken cube mix in a little bit of water and chickpeas, cover and let it cook for 5 minutes.
- When it’s done, add cream, green chili, fresh coriander, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, ginger flakes and butter.
- Serve with naan or chapattis.
