Arabic Pudding Dessert
Everyone likes dessert after dinner. You’ve tried trifle many times, custard and all the usual recipes, but do try this different and Arabic pudding dessert with the combinations of fruit and rich taste of condensed milk.
Arabic Pudding Dessert
Shahi Tukray Bread pudding
Ingredients:
- Bread slices – 6
- Condensed milk – 1 tin
- Dry apricots – 1 cup cut thinly
- Almond – 50 g
- Water – 1 cup
- Cream – 1 packet lightly whipped
- Kewra – 1 tsp
- Saffron – 1 pinch
- Oil – for fry
- Orange peel – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Cut bread slices in round shapes, and fry until light golden and crispy.
- Put on kitchen towel to drain oil.
- Then take 1 cup water and cook apricots until soft and water dries.
- In another pan add condensed milk, saffron, kewra, let it cook on low heat until it’s a bit thick.
- Now take a serving dish, then pour cream, then place fried bread slices, then pour condensed milk, then boiled apricots, then bit cream, nuts, and garnish with candied orange peel.
- Serve cold.
Serving suggestions:
- Arrange slices as single serving, and on single slice pour all things.
- Meaning, on each slice pour condensed milk, then boiled apricot, then cream and nuts.
