Sindhi Biryani Masala is a blend of some other spices, which contains an aromatic blend of spices.

Powder Spices:

Spicy Sindhi Biryani: English – Urdu Recipe

  1. Degi Red Chili/ Kashmiri Chili/ Paprika Powder – 4 tbsp
  2. Red Chili Powder – 3 tbsp
  3. Salt – ½ tbsp
  4. Turmeric Powder – 1 tbsp
  5. Cumin Powder – 1 ½ tbsp
  6. Citric Acid – 1 tsp (SPOONFUL)
  7. Kewra Essence – 2-3 drops
  8. Yellow/Orange Food Color – ¼ tsp

Keto Mutanjan Recipe

Whole Spices Will be Ground:-

  1. Green Cardamoms – 15 pods
  2. Star Anise – 2 flowers
  3. Coriander- 4 tbsp
  4. Black Cumin – 1 tsp
  5. Black Peppercorn – 1 tsp
  6. Cloves – ½ tsp
  7. Cinnamon Stick – 4 pieces
  8. Black Cardamom – 2 big
  9. Mace (جاوتری) – 5 pieces
  10. Nutmeg (جائفل) – ½ piece

Some Whole Spices Will be Added:-

  1. White Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
  2. Cloves – 1 tsp
  3. Black Peppercorn – 1 ½ tsp
  4. Cinnamon Sticks – 1 ½ inch
  5. Green Cardamom – 1/3 tsp (APPROXIMATELY 4-6 PODS)
  6. Bay Leaves – 4
  7. Dry plumps – 3 tbsp

Method for Homemade Sindhi Biryani Masala:

  • Dry roast all whole spices from the # 2 ingredients list then put all roasted spices in the grinding jar.
  • Grind them until making a fine powder.
  • Take a medium bowl to add all ground spices, degi red chili, coriander, turmeric, cumin powder, red chili powder, citric acid, and salt mix them well
  • Now add all whole spices cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorn, cinnamon stick, cardamom, bay leaves
  • Now mix them very well then add plums and a few drops of kewra essence mix it. Finely add yellow/orange food color. Mix them together.
  • Now ready to use in the recipe.
  • You can store it in the airtight bottle/jar for 2 months or even more than it.
