How to Cook Tandoori chicken

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 1 (cut in 4 pieces)
  2. Crushed fried cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  3. Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
  4. Red chilli powder – 2 Β½ tsp
  5. Garlic ginger paste – 2 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  9. Kashmiri chilli or degi mirch – 2 tbsp
  10. Yogurt – 1 Β½ cup
  11. Oil – 6 tbsp
  12. Black pepper – Β½ tsp
  13. Orange food colour – few drops

Method:

  • Mix all above ingredients and apply on chicken pieces, leave for 2 hours.
  • Bake in preheated oven on 190ΒΊC for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • When its done, give smoke of charcoal.
  • Serve this yummy chicken with mix vegetable salad and Peshawari chutney.
