Quick and Tasty Brownies
Ingredients:
Step 1:
- Water – 2 tbsp
- Unsalted butter – 80g
- Chocolate – 150 gm
- Coffee – 1 tsp
Step 2:
- Sugar – 150 gm
- Eggs – 2
- Vanilla extract or sugar – 1 tsp
Step 3:
- All purpose flour – 100 gm
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Baking powder – 1 pinch
- Unsweetened cocoa powder – 20g
Miscellaneous:
- 30g chopped walnuts

Method:
- Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius.
Grease an 8 inch square tin with butter and line it with parchment paper. - In a pan, add water and bring to boil. Add butter. When butter starts melting, add chocolate and coffee.
- Constantly stir until chocolate and butter are completely melted.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the chocolate butter mixture completely cool down.
- Whisk sugar and eggs in a bowl along with vanilla extract.
- Whisk thoroughly until everything is fully incorporated.
- Fold chopped walnuts in 1 tbsp of flour (take out some from already measured flour).
- Sieve remaining flour, salt, coco powder and baking powder into the egg mixture and fold until fully combined.
- Add chocolate and butter mixture along with walnuts and fold with light hands.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on the batter.
- Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out with little crumbs attached to it.
- Remove from oven and let it cool completely in the tin itself.
- Cut into neat squares and serve with ice cream and whipped cream.
