Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, add plain flour, corn meal, salt, sugar and oil. Mix well.
- Gradually add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
- Cover and rest for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Rolling & Layering
- Divide dough into equal-sized balls. Give rest for 10 minutes.
- Roll one ball into a thin circle.
- Apply a light layer of ghee and sprinkle dry flour.
- Fold from both sides, place cheese and fold like an envelop.
- Flatten and roll out again
Step 3: Cook the paratha
- Place the rolled paratha on a heated tawa or skillet.
- Cook both sides with ghee until golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Serve
