You should try this soft and delicious chicken malai kabab recipe, chunks of chicken thigh wrapped in creamy textures of mozzarella cheese, heavy cream and yogurt with spices. You can make rolls or serve with fried rice, onion rings and mint chutney.

How to Make Afghani Malai Tikka in Urdu – English

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless chicken – 1/2 kg cut in cubes
  2. Green chili paste – 2 tbsp
  3. Mozzarella cheese – 4 tbsp
  4. Hung yogurt – 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
  6. Heavy cream – 3 tbsp
  7. Dry fenugreek leaves – 2 tbsp
  8. Garam masala powder – 1 TSP
  9. Black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  10. Cornflour – 2 tbsp
  11. Salt – to taste
  12. Oil – 1 tbsp
  13. Soft butter – 2 tbsp
  14. Onion and capsicum – cut in cubes
Mint-Corriander Chutney

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add smooth cheese, yogurt, fenugreek leaves, salt, garam masala, green chili paste, black pepper powder and ginger garlic paste.
  • Then add cream and cornflour, mix it very well.
  • Now add chicken cubes and oil in this mixture, mix it well and leave for 4 to 5 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  • Then skew in kabab skewers along with onion cubes and capsicum, grill in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or bbq.
