How to Make Rabri Milk: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients for Rasmalai Balls:
- Milk – 1 liter
- Lemon juice – as required
- Plain flour – 1/2 tbsp mix in 2 to 3 tbsp of water
- Green cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
Method:
- Take a pan, add milk and bring to boil over high heat then add lemon juice.
- Take it off of the flame and set a side for 2 minutes.
- Stir gently then add some more lemon until milk is curdle properly.
- Then add some cold water to reduce the temperature of mixture.
- Now strain this curdled milk with muslin cloth and wash under runinng water to remove lemon juice (along with cloth).
- Now place strained milk mixture like cottage cheese on work top, and rub gently with palm of hand.
- Make small balls with light hands, press and put a side.
- Then add 1 cup sugar, 3 cups of water, cook until sugar dissolves and starts boiling.
- Then add some flour and water mixture, now add balls, cover and bring to boil. Balls will puff up.
- Cook for 5 minutes. Take it out from syrup and put it in the prepared rabri milk.
- Garnish with chopped pistachio and serve.
How to Make Rasmalai
Rabri milk ingredients:
- Milk – 1 1/2 liter
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Saffron – 1 pinch
- Chopped pistachio – as required
Method:
- Add milk in another pan, bring to boil until 1 liter left.
- Then add sugar, saffron and let it cook for 10 minutes.
- Then add cardamom powder and keep a side.
