Chicken Tikka Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chicken (tikka piece) – 4
- Yogurt – 250 gm
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- All spice powder – 1 tsp
- Raw papaya paste – 1 tbsp
- Crushed red pepper – 2 tsp
- Roasted cumin – 2 tsp
- Turmeric – ½ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Nutmeg ground – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Coal – 1 piece

Method:
- Marinate chicken tikka pieces with crushed red pepper, roasted cumin seeds, turmeric, coriander powder, all spice, salt, nutmeg powder, yogurt, papaya paste and oil.
- Keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Put it in a pan, cover and cook on medium flame till chicken is tender.
- Then fry well and give smoke of charcoal.
Ingredients for Rice:
- Rice – ½ kg
- Whole spice – 1 tbsp
- Stock – 2 cup
- Mint leaves – 1 bunch
- Whole green chilies – 10
- Kewra – few drops
- Yellow color – a pinch
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Brown onion – 1 cup
- Oil – 4 tbsp
Method for Rice:
- Heat oil in a pan, add mix whole spices and fry well.
- Now add stock with salt and soaked rice.
- Cook on medium flame till water dries.
- Put prepared tikka on top of rice, spread mint leaves, green chilies and brown onion on top.
- Mix a pinch of yellow color with few drops of kewra water and spread on top of rice.
- Simmer for 20 minutes on low flame till rice are done.
- Dish it out and serve hot.
