Chicken Tikka Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken (tikka piece) – 4
  2. Yogurt – 250 gm
  3. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  4. All spice powder – 1 tsp
  5. Raw papaya paste – 1 tbsp
  6. Crushed red pepper – 2 tsp
  7. Roasted cumin – 2 tsp
  8. Turmeric – ½ tsp
  9. Salt – ½ tsp
  10. Nutmeg ground – ¼ tsp
  11. Oil – 4 tbsp
  12. Coal – 1 piece

Chicken Tikka Biryani: English – Urdu Recipe

Method:

  • Marinate chicken tikka pieces with crushed red pepper, roasted cumin seeds, turmeric, coriander powder, all spice, salt, nutmeg powder, yogurt, papaya paste and oil.
  • Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Put it in a pan, cover and cook on medium flame till chicken is tender.
  • Then fry well and give smoke of charcoal.

Ingredients for Rice:

  1. Rice – ½ kg
  2. Whole spice – 1 tbsp
  3. Stock – 2 cup
  4. Mint leaves – 1 bunch
  5. Whole green chilies – 10
  6. Kewra – few drops
  7. Yellow color – a pinch
  8. Salt – 1 tsp
  9. Brown onion – 1 cup
  10. Oil – 4 tbsp

Method for Rice:

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mix whole spices and fry well.
  • Now add stock with salt and soaked rice.
  • Cook on medium flame till water dries.
  • Put prepared tikka on top of rice, spread mint leaves, green chilies and brown onion on top.
  • Mix a pinch of yellow color with few drops of kewra water and spread on top of rice.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes on low flame till rice are done.
  • Dish it out and serve hot.
