Ingredients:
- Thick vermicelli (mooti seviyan) – 100 gm
- Desi ghee – 2 tbsp
- Full-fat milk – 1 liter
- Green cardamom pods (crushed or powdered) – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/3 cup (adjust to taste)
- Almonds (sliced)
- Pistachios (sliced)
Instructions:

- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add vermicelli and roast on low flame until golden brown and aromatic.
- Add milk, sugar and green cardamoms.
- Lower the flame and let it simmer until it reduces slightly (about 8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Cook on low flame, stirring gently, until the seviyan softens and the milk thickens (about 10-12 minutes).
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until it reaches a thick, creamy consistency.
- Add half of the dry fruits to the seviyan.
- Cook for 2-3 more minutes. Turn off the flame.

Serve hot or chilled, garnished with the remaining dry fruits. Pair it with a festive meal or enjoy as a comforting dessert.
