Easy Chicken Pulao Recipe
Cucumber Raita Recipe: English β Urdu
Ingredients:
- Oil – 1/3 cup
- Onion – 1 sliced
- Bay leaves – 2
- Star anise – 1
- Cinnamon sticks – 2
- Black cardamom – 3
- Green cardamoms – 4
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tbsp
- Black pepper – 1 tsp
- Cloves – 3
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Chopped tomatoes – 2
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Hot water – 2 cups
- Soaked rice – 1 1/2 cup
- Green chilies – 2 to 3
Keto Spicy Cauliflower Rice
Method:
- Rinse and soak rice for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pot, add onion and fry until golden brown, then add bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon sticks, black cardamom, green cardamoms, cumin seeds, black pepper and cloves. Fry a bit.
- Add chicken, salt and ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add some water and cook until chicken is tender.
- Add 2 cups of hot water, bring to boil then add drained rice.
- Cover and cook until most water evaporates.
- Cover the lid with tea towel of foil and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is fully cooked.
- Fluff and serve hot with salad and raita. Enjoy! π
