Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- Ghee or oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Warm water – 1/3 cup
- Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
- All-purpose flour (maida) – 1 cup
For the Potato Filling:
Keto Samosa
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Crushed coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Ginger – 1/2 tbsp
- Green chili paste – 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Boiled potatoes – 3 to 4
- Fresh coriander – 1/4 bunch
Step-by-Step Recipe:
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, Ajwain, water and ghee/oil.
- Knead into a stiff dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Filling
- Heat oil in a pan, add coriander seeds, and let them splutter.
- Add ginger, green chili paste, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt.
- Add boiled potatoes and mashed it roughly.
- Let the filling cool completely before using.
Step 3: Shape & Fry the Samosas
- Roll the dough into circles, cut in half, and shape into cones.
- Fill each cone with the potato mixture and seal the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas on low-medium heat until crispy and golden brown.
Serving Suggestions:
