Easy Matka Gosht Recipe

Matka Gosht Recipe: English – Urdu

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton – 1 kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  3. Fried onion – 3/4 cup or 2 onion
  4. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  5. Chopped tomato – 4
  6. Whole garam masala – 1 tsp
  7. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  8. Red crushed chili – 1 tsp
  9. Oil – 3/4 cup
  10. Freshly ground black pepper – 1 tsp
  11. Roasted ground cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  12. Ghee – 2 tbsp
  13. Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  14. Ginger flakes – 1 tbsp
  15. Chopped green chilies – 1 tbsp
  16. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp chopped
How to Cook Mutton Kunna

Method:

  • Heat up a pot, add mutton, ginger garlic paste, fried onion and turmeric powder, mix and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Then add tomatoes, whole garam masala, red chili powder and red crushed chili, cook on low flame until tomatoes soften.
  • Then add 2 cups of water along with salt, bring to boil on high flame, then cook on low flame until mutton is tender and water dries.
  • Then add oil, fresh ground black pepper, crushed cumin seeds and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on low heat.
  • Then add ghee, switch off the flame and add lemon juice, cover for 5 minutes.
  • Then garnish with ginger flakes, fresh coriander and green chilies, cover for extra 5 minutes.
  • Now serve this delicious matka gosht with tandoori naan.
