How to Make Sharbat Rooh Afza: English – Urdu Recipe


  1. Phalsa fruit (Grewia Asiatica) – 1/2 kg
  2. Chilled water – 2 litres
  3. Black salt – 1 tsp
  4. Jaggery or Sugar – 1/4 kg
  5. Rooh-e- afza – 2 to 3 tbsp (Red drink very popular in Pakistan & India)
  6. Lot of crushed ice
  7. Fresh mint leaves – for Garnishing


How to Make Thadal Sharbat in Urdu – English
  • Soak phalsa in water for 30 minutes.Strain out the fruit and mash the fruit and remove the seeds.
  • Add Falsa in a blender with crushed ice, sugar , black salt , Rooh-e-afza drink and chilled water.Blend it nicely.
  • Take it out in the glass , chill it in the fridge if you like more cold.
  • Serve garnish with mint leaves.
  • Trust me a very refreshing drink to have it in hot Summer !
