Ginger Masala Tea

Adrak Wali Chai

Ingredients:

  1. Water – 3 cups
  2. Green cardamoms – 3
  3. Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
  4. Fresh ginger – 1 inch piece cut in slices
  5. Salt – 2 pinches
  6. Brown sugar – 3 tbsp
  7. Black tea bags – 3 (I like PG Tips)
  8. Semi skimmed milk – 2 to 3 cups

Health Benefits of Ginger

Method:

  • Add water in a medium saucepan, add cardamoms, fennel seeds, ginger, salt and brown sugar. Bring it to a full boil. Simmer for 1 minute.
  • Add milk and bring the tea to a full boil on medium high heat. Turn the heat off or allow to simmer on low heat for another 1 minute.
  • Using a strainer filter the tea in 3 cups.
  • Enjoy delicious ginger masala tea with any kind of biscuits or as it is.
