Ginger Masala Tea
Adrak Wali Chai
Ingredients:
- Water – 3 cups
- Green cardamoms – 3
- Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Fresh ginger – 1 inch piece cut in slices
- Salt – 2 pinches
- Brown sugar – 3 tbsp
- Black tea bags – 3 (I like PG Tips)
- Semi skimmed milk – 2 to 3 cups
Health Benefits of Ginger
Method:
- Add water in a medium saucepan, add cardamoms, fennel seeds, ginger, salt and brown sugar. Bring it to a full boil. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Add milk and bring the tea to a full boil on medium high heat. Turn the heat off or allow to simmer on low heat for another 1 minute.
- Using a strainer filter the tea in 3 cups.
- Enjoy delicious ginger masala tea with any kind of biscuits or as it is.
