HOMEMADE SELF – RAISING FLOUR
HOMEMADE SELF – RAISING FLOUR

Southern cooks are used to using self-raising flour and may have their own recipes calling for that product. Remember that baking powder may lose some of its strength with age, so don’t keep it on hand for more then a few months.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in airtight container shake and store.
