Dhaba White Karahi
Ingredients:
- Chicken β 1 kg
- Oil or ghee β Β½ cup
- Green chillies β 6
- Ginger flaks β 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice β 2 tbsp
- Salt β to taste
- Ginger garlic paste β 1 tbsp
- Green chilli paste β 2 tbsp
- Yogurt β 250g
- Cumin seeds β 1 tsp (fried and grounded)
- Crushed black pepper β 1 tsp
- Cream β 2 tbsp
- Garam masala β Β½ tsp
Method:
- Take a wok and put oil, heat it up, then add ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin seeds, ginger flaks 2 tbsp, black pepper, green chilli paste and 1 tbsp of water, fry a bit and add chicken and fry until it becomes a white colour.
- Then add yogurt and cook until the chicken tenders and the water dries.
- When itβs done, add chopped green chillies, garam masala powder, lemon juice and cream, mix well. Garnish with ginger flaks.
- Serve with tandoori naan and enjoy!
