KFC Style Zinger Burger Recipe

Crispy Fried Chicken Burger

Ingredients:

Boneless chicken breast – 1/2 kg

Wet Batter Mix:

  1. Milk – 1 1/4 cup
  2. Thyme – 1/4 tsp
  3. Oregano – 1/4 tsp
  4. Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  5. Onion powder – 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  10. Paprika powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Cayenne pepper – 1/2 tsp
  12. Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  13. Ginger powder – 1/4 tsp

Method:

  • Make tiny cuts on chicken pieces all over with the sharp tip of the knife.
  • Now in a bowl, add milk along all above ingredients. Mix it well.
  • Add chicken pieces in this buttermilk mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 1/2 an hour or leave it overnight.

Dry Batter Mix:

  1. Plain flour – 2 cups
  2. Salt – 1/2 tsp
  3. Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  5. Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • Stir everything and set aside. Take the chicken out 30 minutes before frying.

Cooking and Preparation Method:

  • Now take out the chicken pieces from the buttermilk mixture and roll them in the dry mixture.
  • Shake off the excess flour, dip in chilled water for 5 seconds and roll in the dry mixture.
  • Repeat the process twice and deep fry in medium hot oil for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Now take bun, apply butter and heat them up on skillet.
  • Apply burger sauce, then crispy chicken, cheese slice, lettuce, tomato, sauce and serve with fries.
