Kofta Anday Recipe
Ingredients:
- Mince – 1/2 kg
- Onion – 1
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Green chilies – 5
- Salt – to taste
Ingredients for curry:
- Onion – 1
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes – 3
- Red chili powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method:
- Take a wok, heat up oil and fry onion until light golden.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, mix and fry 1 minute.
- Then add chopped tomatoes.
- Cover and let it cook until tomatoes become soft.
- Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt, fry well.
- Now add meatballs to masala and cook for a few minutes – don’t move then during cooking, so they don’t break.
- After 5 minutes, you can change sides to fry well.
- Then add water according to how thick you want the gravy to be, and cook for 6 – 8 minutes. When gravy is done, pour in dish and add in boiled eggs cut in half.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger, and serve with naan or chapatti.
