Quick Fry Bhindi
Quick Fry Bhindi or fry okra is a Quick Meal Idea that can be ready in 10 minutes. Okra is a vegetable that almost everyone loves, especially during the summer. It’s very healthy, especially for anyone that has pain in their knees because of arthritis, or any other health related problem. It is also beneficial for people with diabetes. So, today I’m sharing this simple recipe to show you how to cook okra or bhindi in a matter of minutes.
Quick Fry Bhindi
How to Make Bhindi Ki Sabzi: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Okra – 400 g
- Tomato – 1
- Onions – 2 (1 big and 1 small)
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Nigella seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Ginger garlic – 1 tsp each
- Chilli flakes – 1/2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Fresh garlic – 1
- Green chillies – 2
- Coriander – to taste
Method:
- Cut okra into smaller pieces, and slice onions and tomato.
- Take a pan, and add oil. Add okra and fry.
- Once the okra has fried, remove it and set aside. Now add more oil to the pan.
- Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, Nigella seeds, ginger garlic, chilli flakes, salt, onions and tomato.
- Fry on high flame to prevent the vegetables from becoming mushy.
- Now add turmeric powder, the green part of the fresh garlic, and green chillies.
- Mix well and add the fried okra.
- Add coriander on top, and cover. Let it cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
- After 5 minutes, remove the cover and enjoy.
- Serve with salad, chutney and naan.
