Dhaba Chicken Karahi Recipe
Quick Dhaba Chana Dal: English – Urdu Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 1/2 kg cut in 14 pieces
- Lemons – 2
- Ground onions – 3
- Finely chopped green chillies – 4
- Finely chopped tomatoes – 6
- Finely chopped coriander – 1 bunch
- Oil or clarified butter – 1 cup
- Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- All spice powder – 1 tsp
- Crushed red chillies – 1 tbsp
- Whole coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Whole black pepper – 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Finely chopped ginger – 1 tbsp
- White cumin seeds – 1/2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Method:
- Grind cumin seeds, whole coriander seeds and whole black pepper.
- Take a wok, heat up oil or clarified butter and fry onions until light brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, chicken and salt, fry until water dries.
- Then add yogurt, crushed red chilli and all spice powder and let it cook.
- Then add chopped tomatoes, grounded spices and 1 tbsp oil or clarified butter.
- Lastly add finely chopped ginger, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies and juice of 2 lemons.
- Serve with naans or chapattis.
