How to Make Spicy Chicken Lasagna
Ingredients:
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Red chili whole – 6
- Curry leaves – 12 to 15
- Oil – ¼ cup
- Onion chopped – 4 tbsp
- Garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Potatoes – 1 cube shaped
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp heaped
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Tomato – 2 sliced
- Carrot – 1 diced
- French Beans – ½ cup
- Peas – 1 cup blanched (half cooked)
- Egg plant – 1 cubed
- Capsicum – 1 diced
- Oregano leaves – as required.
- Tomato Ketchup – 4 tbsp
- Lasagna Sheets – 7 boiled
- Cheese sauce – as required
Garlic Bread Recipe: English – Urdu
Method:
- Heat up oil in a pan, put curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red whole chilies and chopped onion, stir fry.
- When onion gets slightly softened, add 1 garlic paste, fry for 1 sec, then add potatoes, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, tomato, stir fry till tomato soften, then add carrots, french beans and add 1/4 cup water cover and allow it to cook for 5 to 6 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Then add peas and egg plant, add little water if you feel its sticking at the bottom.
- Lastly add ketchup, mix and take it of off the flame.
Cheese Sauce
Ingredients:
- Butter – 2 tbsp or 50 gm
- Plain flour – 3 tbsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Mustard powder – ½ tsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Milk – 1 ½ cup
- Water – ½ cup
- Cheddar Cheese – 3 tbsp
Method for Cheese sauce:
- To prepare cheese sauce heat up butter, add plain flour, fry for 2 sec then add mustard powder, black pepper powder and salt, mix and pour milk and water keep on mixing and cook until become little bit thick sauce, at the end add grated cheddar cheese.
Preparation Method:
- Boil lasagna sheets according to packaging.
- Strain and let through cold water.
- Grease the transparent serving tray.
- Place 4 lasagna sheets at the bottom, spread on the vegetables prepared, sprinkle capsicum, oregano leaves, cheese sauce, drizzle some ketchup, then top with lasagna sheets, then layer again with vegetables, capsicum, oregano leaves, cheese sauce and sprinkle cheddar cheese and drizzle ketchup once again.
- Bake or grill in oven for 10 minutes at 190 degrees centigrade.
