How to Make Sponge Cake Recipe: English – Urdu
Ingredients:
- Microwavable dish – 1
- Eggs – 2
- Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
- Flour – 1 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Baking powder – 2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/3 cup
- Oil – 1/2 cup
- Coffee – 1 tsp mix in 1/4 cup of water (optional)
Method:
- Sieve flour, baking powder and cocoa powder.
- Mix eggs, sugar, coffee and oil.
- Now add vanilla essence to wet ingredients and beat the mixture.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Mix well, making sure to get rid of all lumps.
- Then pour this mixture into the microwave dish.
- Put the dish into the microwave and heat for 3 minutes.
- Garnish and decorate your cake. Enjoy!

The vanilla essence you are using in this cake is imported and 40% alcohol please check..!!
I purchased the same from England but had to waste because it wasn’t halal ..
Kindly read from the back of the bottle .

pure vanilla essence has an alcohol. You can buy the imitation one it doesn’t contain any alcohol. In U.S You get both kind. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic
