Fried chili chicken

Sweet and spicy chili chicken is perfect for lunch. It’s easy to make and kids will love this.


  1. Chicken – 1 kg or 16 pieces (boil chicken until it’s more than half done)
  2. Ingredients for chicken batter:
  3. Salt – 1 tsp
  4. Black pepper – ½ tsp
  5. Baking powder – ¼ tsp
  6. Flour – 2 tbsp
  7. Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  8. Egg – 1
  9. Oil – for frying


Boil chicken and then let it cool. Now take a bowl, add salt, black pepper, baking powder, flour, corn flour and egg. Mix well and add chicken as well. Then deep-fry in hot oil until light golden brown. Now take out of oil and in another pan, make chili sauce and add friend chicken. Cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green chilies and serve with garlic bread or dinner roll.

Ingredients for chili sauce:

  1. Oil – 2 tbsp
  2. Crushed garlic – 2 tbsp
  3. Chili garlic sauce – 2 tbsp
  4. Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
  5. Ketchup – 3 tbsp
  6. Salt – ½ tsp
  7. Crushed red chili – 1 tsp
  8. Sugar – ½ tsp


Take a pan, add oil and fry garlic until light brown. Then add chili garlic sauce, soya sauce, ketchup, salt, crushed chili and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes and add chicken and cook for 5 more minutes.
