Achari Keema Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Keema (Mince) (Hand chopped) -1 kg
  2. Onion finely chopped-1 cup
  3. Oil-1 cup
  4. Salt- to taste
  5. Crushed red chilli-1 tbsp
  6. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder-12 tsp
  8. Coriander powder-1 tsp
  9. Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
  10. Garam masala powder-1 tsp
  11. Roasted crushed cumin -1 tsp
  12. Tomatoes chopped- 4
  13. Beaten curd -1/2 cup
  14. Lemon juice-3to 4 tbsp
  15. Whole slited green chillies -8 to 10
  16. Fresh coriander chopped-1/2 Bunch
  17. Ginger juliennes-1 tbsp

To Prepare Achari Masala:

  1. Fennel seeds -1 tbsp
  2. Fenugreek seeds -1tsp
  3. Onion seeds -1 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds -1 tsp

Method:

  • In pan heat up oil, add onion and sauté.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, crushed red chilli and chili powder along with the mince, fry well.
  • Then add water and cover till the mince gets tender.
  • When the water dries add tomatoes and curd into it and cover it till the water gets dry along with the freshly made achari masala.
  • Lastly add garam masala powder, roasted cumin, lemon juice and whole green chillies.
  • Take it out in a platter.
  • Garnish it with fresh coriander and ginger juliennes.
