Aloo Kay Chatpatay Samosay in Urdu β English
Ingredients for Samosa dough:
- Flour- 1 cup
- Salt β 1/2 tsp
- Ajwain (carom seeds ) β ΒΌ tsp
- Ghee β 2 tbsp
- Water β 1/3 cup
Keto Samosa
Method:
- In a bowl, add flour, salt, ajwain, salt and ghee, mix and make dough with warm water.
- Leave for 30 minutes until prepare filling.
Filling for Aloo Kay Samosay Recipe
- Potatoes β 1 (boiled and roughly chopped)
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds β 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds β 1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red crushed chili β 1 tsp
- Onion – 1/2 chopped
- Green chilies – 2
- Fresh coriander β 2 tbsp
- Salt β to taste
Method:
- Heat up oil and stir fry fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and add potato along with remaining spices, onion, green chilies and fresh coriander.
- Take it off of the flame and let it cool down.
- Now roll flour dough and make thin roti and cut in samosa shapes, now fill with potatoes filling and close with the help of plain flour paste and deep fry.
