Easy Tandoori Naan

Ingredients for Chicken:

  1. Boneless chicken – 1 kg cut in cubes
  2. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  4. Paprika powder – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – to taste
  6. Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Red food colour – 1/4 tsp
  8. Yogurt – 2 tbsp
  9. Ginger garlic – 2 tsp

Ingredients for Gravy:

Keto Butter Chicken Curry

  1. Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp
  2. Onion – 1 medium
  3. Tomatoes – 2
  4. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  5. Red chili powder – 1
  6. Turmeric – 1 tsp
  7. Salt – to taste
  8. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  9. Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
  10. Heavy cream – 3/4 cup
  11. Handful of cashew nuts

Method to make Butter Chicken Restaurant Style:

  • In a bowl, add chicken, red chili powder, turmeric powder, paprika powder, salt, garam masala powder, red food colour, yogurt and ginger garlic paste.
  • Mix and leave overnight or an hour.
  • Then cook in 1 to 2 tbsp ghee or oil. When it’s done, take out from the pan and set aside and make gravy.
  • In the same wok or pan, heat up oil and sauté onion and chopped tomatoes. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until tomatoes have softened.
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder and garam masala. Fry well.
  • Then add cream and mix it well. Add cashew nuts, cook for 1 to 2 minutes and turn off the flame. Let it cool down, then blend this masala in a blender.
  • Now add cooked chicken in the same wok or pan, along with blended gravy and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with cream and dry fenugreek leaves.
  • Serve with butter naan or plain boiled basmati rice.
