Easy Tandoori Naan
Ingredients for Chicken:
- Boneless chicken – 1 kg cut in cubes
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Paprika powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red food colour – 1/4 tsp
- Yogurt – 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic – 2 tsp

- Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 1 medium
- Tomatoes – 2
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
- Heavy cream – 3/4 cup
- Handful of cashew nuts
Method to make Butter Chicken Restaurant Style:
- In a bowl, add chicken, red chili powder, turmeric powder, paprika powder, salt, garam masala powder, red food colour, yogurt and ginger garlic paste.
- Mix and leave overnight or an hour.
- Then cook in 1 to 2 tbsp ghee or oil. When it’s done, take out from the pan and set aside and make gravy.
- In the same wok or pan, heat up oil and sauté onion and chopped tomatoes. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until tomatoes have softened.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder and garam masala. Fry well.
- Then add cream and mix it well. Add cashew nuts, cook for 1 to 2 minutes and turn off the flame. Let it cool down, then blend this masala in a blender.
- Now add cooked chicken in the same wok or pan, along with blended gravy and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Garnish with cream and dry fenugreek leaves.
- Serve with butter naan or plain boiled basmati rice.
