Ingredients for chapli kabab:

  1. Beef, minced – ½ kg
  2. Beef fat – 1 cup
  3. Onion, finely cut – 1 medium
  4. Garlic – 1 tbsp
  5. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  6. Fresh coriander, chopped – 3 tbsp
  7. Green chilies, chopped – 3
  8. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  9. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  10. Salt – 1-1/2 tsp
  11. Oil for frying
  12. Coriander, crushed – 4 tbsp
  13. Cumin seeds, crushed – 1 tbsp
  14. Pomegranate seeds, crushed – 2 tbsp
  15. Red chili, crushed – 1 tbsp

Ingredients for the salsa fresca:

  1. Tomato, sliced – 3
  2. Onion, chopped – 1 large
  3. Capsicum, chopped – 1
  4. Fresh coriander, chopped – 4 tbsp
  5. Green chili, chopped – 2
  6. Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  7. Salt – ½ tsp
  8. Chili garlic sauce – 1 cup
  9. Burger buns – 4
  10. Cheddar cheese slice – 4
  11. Onion, slice – 1
  12. Tomato slice – 2

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients for chapli kabab in a bowl.
  • Grind in a chopper and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Take out from refrigerator, shape it into round cutlets and fry both sides for 8 minutes and set aside.
  • To make salsa, combine all ingredients and set aside.
  • Now take a bun toast, layer it with onion, tomato slice and chapli kabab.
  • Then place cheese slice, another chapli kabab and pour 2 tbsp of salsa.
  • Cover the stuffing with bun top and serve hot.
