Chicken Chana Masala

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 1 kg
  2. Chick peas – 1 cup
  3. Onion – 2 medium
  4. Yogurt – 250g
  5. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  6. Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  7. Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  9. Salt – to taste
  10. Ghee – 1 cup
  11. Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
  12. Ginger flaks and fresh coriander – for garnishing

Method:

  • Take a pan, put ghee and thinly sliced onion and fry until brown, then add ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp of water and fry, now add chicken and fry well.
  • Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt and mix them well.
  • Now add lightly beaten yogurt, mix it well and add chick peas and let it cook until the chicken and chick peas are cooked well.
  • When they’re cooked, switch off the cooker and cover it for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with ginger flakes and fresh coriander.
