Chickpeas Raita

Chickpeas Raita
Chicken Pulao Recipe
Ingredients:
- Yogurt – 375 gm
- Cucumber – 1/3 cup
- Chopped green chillies – 2
- Onion – 1/3 cup
- Tomato – 1/3 cup
- Boiled chickpeas – 1 cup
- Green chillies and mint paste – 1 tsp
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp or to taste
- Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Method to Prepare Chickpeas Raita
- In a bowl, add yogurt, cucumber, green chillies, onion, tomatoes and chickpeas. Mix well.
- Add green chillies and mint paste, salt, black pepper and cumin seeds. Mix well.
- Serve with pulao and biryani.
Tips:
You can use tinned boiled chickpeas or cook uncooked chickpeas with a little vinegar, water and salt. Once cooked, drain and store in a freezer bag. In both ways, to use it, take them out of the freezer, immerse in hot water without removing them from the bag and they will be suitable for use.
