Tips for Fair Complexion. Apply pea sized Azelaic Acid Cream mixed with a bulk of moisturizing lotion twice a day (in the morning for 3 to 4 hours and at bedtime). Use SPF 30 while cooking and before going out in the sun.
Masks No 1:
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp desi ghee
- 1 green cardamom whole- crushed
- 2 tbsp husk
- 1 piece of cinnamon crushed
- 2 tbsp sugarcane juice
Apply this mask for 40 minutes thrice a week.
Mask No 2:
- 3 to 4 small crystals of alum
- Half lemon squeezed
- 1 tsp rosewater
- kojic acid cream 2% – ½ tsp
Mix and apply all over face, ears, hands, neck at bedtime.
Mask No 3:
- 1 tsp of milk powder
- 1 tsp of honey
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- ½ tsp of almond oil
Mix into a paste and then apply and leave onto face for 10-15 minutes before washing it off. This will give your face a radiant shine and lighten skin tone.
Note:
Drink a glass of warm milk with a pinch of turmeric powder and 1 tbsp honey at bedtime.
Take a vitamin C tablet thrice a day for 2 weeks.
