The Lucknow dastarkhwan would not be complete without Galawat ke kabab recipe. Kebabs are the integral part of the lucknow or Awadhi cuisine

Galawat ke Kabab Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Beef mince – 1/2 kg
  2. Fried and crushed cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  3. Roasted and ground Chana – 3 tbsp
  4. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  5. Ginger – 1 tsp
  6. Salt – 1 tsp
  7. Raw papaya paste – 1 tsp
  8. Yogurt – 2 tbsp
  9. Desicated coconut – 1 tbsp
  10. Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add mince, cumin seeds, chana, red chili, ginger, salt, papaya, yogurt, coconut and poppy seeds, mix and grind well. Leave  for half an hour.
  • Now make round kebab shapes and shallow fry on medium heat from both sides.
