Murgh Makhni Recipe

Easy and delicious murgh makhni recipe, you can serve with naan or chapaties.

Murgh Makhni Recipe


Ingredients:

  1. Chicken – 1 kg
  2. Thinly chopped onion – 2
  3. Yogurt – ½ kg
  4. Cream – ½ cup
  5. Butter – 100g
  6. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  8. Salt – 1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
  11. Ground cumin seeds – 2 tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  13. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  14. Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
  15. Oil – 2 tbsp
  16. Green chilli and fresh coriander – as required

Method:

  • Take a wok, add butter, oil and chicken, and cook chicken on high flame until colour becomes white.
  • Then add onion, cover and cook until half done.
  • Then add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ground cumin, ginger garlic paste and tomato paste, mix well and add lightly blended yogurt.
  • Mix, cover and let it cook until it’s done well.
  • Now garnish with cream, green chillies, fresh coriander, and garam masala and lemon juice. Serve hot.Murgh Makhni Recipe
