How to Make Baked Keema Buns

Ingredients for Bun Dough:

  1. Flour – 4 cup
  2. Instant yeast – 1 tbsp
  3. Salt – 1 tsp
  4. Sugar – 4 tsp
  5. Milk powder – 2 tbsp
  6. Butter or Ghee – ¼ cup

Mix all with warm water and set a side until double

Ingredients for Mince

  1. Mince – 250g
  2. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  3. Salt – according to taste
  4. Black pepper – ½ tsp
  5. Red crushed chilli – 1 ¼ tsp
  6. Ginger, garlic paste – 1 tsp
  7. Tomato ketchup – 3 tbsp
  8. Corn flour – 1 ½ tsp
  9. Onion – 1 thinly sliced
  10. Green chillies – 2 thinly sliced


  • Take a pan, put 2 tbsp of oil and heat it up, then put mince, ginger, garlic paste and fry until the colour changes to white, then put turmeric powder, crushed chili, a little bit of water and mix well, then put black pepper and salt and mix well, then put tomato ketchup and fry well.
  • Then add chopped onion and green chilies chopped and fry a little, then add corn flour (mix in water first), and fry.
  • Then check the salt and take it off from the heat and let it cool down.
  • Now make small balls of dough and flatten them.
  • Add cooked mince and give them a bun shape, make cuts, apply beaten egg with brush and bake in preheated oven at 210ºC, gas mark 8 for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • When it’s done, apply oil with brush and serve.
