How to Make Delhi Ki Biryani

Ingredients for chicken stock:

  1. Chicken or Mutton – 1 kg
  2. Garlic garlic paste – 2tbsp
  3. Salt – 1 ½ tsp
  4. Cloves – 5
  5. Cinnamon sticks – 3
  6. Black pepper – 5
  7. Green cardamoms – 5
Put all above ingredients in pan along with meat. Now put 2 cup of water, cook until chicken done and water dries.

Ingredients for yogurt:

  1. Yogurt – 250g
  2. Garlic ginger paste – 2 tbsp
  3. Yellow food colour – 1 pinch
  4. Kewra water – 1 tsp
  5. Nutmeg powder, mace powder and cardamom powder – take all three in equal quantity, grind and use 1 tsp
All these ingredients mix well in yogurt.

Ingredients for boil rice:

  1. Rice – 750 gm
  2. Bay leaf – 1
  3. Salt – 1 tbsp
  4. Cloves – 5
  5. Cinnamon sticks – 3
  6. Black pepper – 5
  7. Green cardamoms – 5
  8. Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Boil rice with above masala and drain water.

Ingredients for garnishing:

  1. Onion – 1
  2. Oil – 1 cup
  • Take a pan, put cooked meat, then add yogurt mixture, then boiled rice and on top pour fried onion with oil (Take a pan, put oil, put onion and fry until golden brown), and put on dum for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with salad and raita.
