How to Make Delicious Bread Halwa
Bread is always available at home, but sometimes you have leftover bread that’s not fresh, so you can make a dessert with it.
- Milk – ½ l
- Bread slices – 4 big or 8 small
- Ghee – ½ cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
- Kewra – 1 tsp
- Almond and pistachio – ¼ cup
- Khoya – 250g
- Silver paper – 2
Take a wok, heat up ghee and fry crushed bread slices until you can smell the aroma and they’re light brown. Then add milk, sugar and cardamom powder. Cook well until milk dries, then add ½ of khoya, kewra and ½ quantity of nuts. Mix well. Add the rest of the khoya and nuts, decorate it with silver paper and serve.
