Tasty Shami Kabab
Shami kebab is very popular kebabs in Pakistan and India, but an extremely popular snack in Pakistan, these tasty shami kabab are combine of small patty minced mutton or Beef, ground chickpeas and spices.
Ingredients:
- Boneless Beef β Β½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste β 1 tbsp
- Split gram lentil β 125gm
- Thinly chopped ginger β 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder β 1 tsp
- Small potato β 1
- Red chili powder β 1 tsp
- Onion β 1 sliced
- Cumin seeds β 1 tsp
- Whole dry red chillies β 15
- Salt β to taste
- Green chillies β 3 chopped
- Eggs β 1
- Oil β for frying
- Water β 2 cups
- Fresh coriander β 2 tbsp
- Brown onion β 2 tbsp
- Mint β 1 tbsp chopped
- Thinly chopped onion – 1
Method:
- Take a pan, add meat, water, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, whole red chillies, potato, red chili powder, onion and split gram lentil, mix well, add salt and cook until mince water dries.
- When water dries then put this cooked mixture in chopper and make smooth paste.
- Then add green chili, mint, fresh coriander, onion, brown onion, ginger, garam masala powder and egg, mix well.
- Then make round kebab and shallow fry both sides.
- Serve yummy kebab in dinner or as a snack.
