Tasty Shami Kabab

Shami kebab is very popular kebabs in Pakistan and India, but an extremely popular snack in Pakistan, these tasty shami kabab are combine of small patty minced mutton or Beef, ground chickpeas and spices.

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless Beef – Β½ kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  3. Split gram lentil – 125gm
  4. Thinly chopped ginger – 1 tbsp
  5. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  6. Small potato – 1
  7. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  8. Onion – 1 sliced
  9. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  10. Whole dry red chillies – 15
  11. Salt – to taste
  12. Green chillies – 3 chopped
  13. Eggs – 1
  14. Oil – for frying
  15. Water – 2 cups
  16. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
  17. Brown onion – 2 tbsp
  18. Mint – 1 tbsp chopped
  19. Thinly chopped onion – 1

Method:

  • Take a pan, add meat, water, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, whole red chillies, potato, red chili powder, onion and split gram lentil, mix well, add salt and cook until mince water dries.
  • When water dries then put this cooked mixture in chopper and make smooth paste.
  • Then add green chili, mint, fresh coriander, onion, brown onion, ginger, garam masala powder and egg, mix well.
  • Then make round kebab and shallow fry both sides.
  • Serve yummy kebab in dinner or as a snack.
