Kofta Pakoray

Kofta Pakoray


  1. Chicken mince – 1/2 kg
  2. Red chili powder – 2 tbsp
  3. Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
  4. Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  5. Green chilies – 6
  6. Salt – to taste
  7. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  8. Fresh coriander – 1 bunch
  9. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  10. Onion – 1


  • In a chopper, add mince, onion, red chili powder, bread crumbs, baking powder, green chilies, salt, ginger, garlic paste, fresh coriander and turmeric powder, grind well.
  • Mixture should be soft and smooth.
  • Then take out mixture from chopper and place in fridge for few minutes to settle down.
  • Then make balls. Then take a pan, add some water, place on cooker and in warm water add meat balls, cook on high flame until balls are done and water dries, let them cool down completely.
  • Now dip in pakora mix and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Pakora Mix:

  1. Gram flour – 2 cups
  2. Fried ground dry coriander – 1 tbsp
  3. Salt – to taste
  4. Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Mix gram flour, dry coriander, salt, baking powder and red chilli powder in a bowl, make batter with water and use it.
