Prawn Malai Curry
Easy Naan Recipe: English – Urdu
Ingredients:
- Prawns – 1 kg
- Oil – 1/2 cup
- Bay leaf – 1
- Whole dry red chilies – 2 to 3
- Cinnamon sticks – 2 pieces
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
- Garlic cloves – 10 to 12
- Ginger – 1 inch piece
- Onion paste – 2
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
- Green chili – 3 to 4
- Fresh coriander 2 tbsp

Method;
- Clean the prawns and marinate with salt and turmeric.
- Then heat up 1/4 cup oil in a pan and fry marinated prawns for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Now add 1/4 cup oil in a wok and fry whole dry red chili, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, mustard seeds, cumin seeds until fragrant.
- Then add onion paste and fry until onion turn into light brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and red chili powder, fry well.
- Then add coconut milk and garam masala powder, cook and bring to boil.
- Then add fried prawns and green chilies, cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Garnish with green coriander and serve.
