This tasty and quick chana masala recipe is excellent for breakfast, you can serve with puri or khasta paratha.

Quick Chana Masala Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled chickpeas – 2 cup
  2. Onion – 1 thinly chopped
  3. Potato – 1 sliced
  4. Green chili – 4 to 5 chopped
  5. Tomato – 2 chopped
  6. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  7. Salt – to taste
  8. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  9. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  10. Oil – 1/4 cup
  11. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  12. Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp
Aloo Chana Ki Bhujia: Urdu – English Recipe

Method:

  • Take a pan, heat up oil and saute onion, then add sliced potatoes along with chopped green chili, fry well until potatoes soften.
  • Then add chickpeas and chopped tomato, mix well.
  • Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds and salt, cover and put on dum until potatoes are tender.
  • Squeeze lemon juice, garnish with fresh coriander and serve as you like.
