Honey chicken is a regular in Chinese restaurants. This recipe is very easy to make, not to mention how delicious it is, and you will achieve this exquisite sauce very quickly and like an expert.

Restaurant Style Chinese Honey Chicken

Crispy Chicken Nuggets: English – Urdu Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Boneless chicken thigh – 500 gm
  2. Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  3. Fresh ginger juice – 1 tbsp
  4. Crushed black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  5. Apple cider vinegar – 1 tbsp
  6. Sesame oil – 1/2 tbsp
  7. Cornflour – 3 tbsp

Method to Marinate Chicken:

  • Cut chicken thigh in cubes, add all above ingredients and mix well. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Then prepare cornflour in a bowl and coat all chicken pieces well with cornflour.
  • Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Take them out and prepare honey sauce.

Ingredients for Honey sauce:

  1. Cooking oil – 1 1/2 tbsp
  2. Ginger flakes – 1 tbsp
  3. Chopped garlic – 2 tbsp
  4. Tomato ketchup – 4 tbsp
  5. Honey – 2 tbsp
  6. Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
  7. Sesame seeds and green onion for garnishing

Method to Prepare honey sauce:

  • Heat up oil in a wok and stir fry ginger flakes. Add garlic and fry for 2 seconds.
  • Add tomato ketchup, honey and fried chicken. Coat well. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve with boiled rice or noodles.
