Spicy and tasty Chicken Charhga is an outstanding Pakistani dish. Spicy chargha recipe can be made with the skin, if you like. Whole Chicken marinated in spices and deep fried till golden brown. Can be eaten with sauces and fries or serve with rice.

Spicy Chargha Recipe
Ingredients:
- Whole chicken – 1
- Orange food color – ¼ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Lemon – 1 cut in slice
- Vinegar – 3 tbsp
- Red crushed chili – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
- Yogurt – 4 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Chat masala – for garnishing
- Oil – for frying
Method:
- Wash chicken and make deep cuts; mix food colour and vinegar and apply on chicken.
- Then take a bowl. Add, salt, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, cumin powder, red crushed chili and yogurt mix and apply on chicken with lemon slice inside and outside and leave it for at least 10 to 15 minutes.
- Now steam this chicken for 20 to 25 minutes. When done, let it cool down completely.
- Then take a wok and put in oil, heat it up, then dip this chicken in hot oil and fry until golden brown, or you can bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Then take it out from oil and serve hot with mint sauce and salad or rice.
