How to Make Butter Cake with Coffee Buttercream Frosting in Urdu – English

Yummy butter cake with coffee buttercream frosting… Dissolve the coffee making sure you don’t add too much water or the icing will be runny and in the cake mixture, everybody will love this cake due to velvety taste of buttercream frosting.

How to Make Butter Cake with Coffee Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients for Cake:


  1. Flour – 2 cups
  2. Eggs – 4
  3. Vanilla essence – 1½ tsp
  4. Sugar – 1 cup
  5. Baking powder – 2 tsp
  6. Butter – 200gm
  7. Salt – 1 pinch
  8. Milk – 4 tbsp

In a bowl put butter and sugar, beat with electric beater until it becomes cream. Take another bowl and strain flour, salt and baking powder. Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp of dry mixture and beat well. Then add milk and vanilla essence and beat for 3 seconds. Now add remaining dry mixture, mix with spatula. Transfer this mixture in 2 8” cake pans and bake in preheated oven at 180ºC, 350ºF and Gas Mark 4 for 45 to 50 minutes.

Ingredients for Icing:

  1. Instant coffee – 1 ½ tsp
  2. Milk or water – 1 tbsp
  3. Icing sugar – 2 cups
  4. Butter – 100gm

1 tsp of coffee dissolved in water or milk. Now beat butter and icing sugar until it becomes cream, then add coffee mixture and mix well.  Now take a bowl, put 1 tbsp of the sugar and 1 tsp coffee in ½ cup of water, mix and sprinkle on  1 layer of cake for moist. Now apply cream, then place the 2nd layer and apply sugar syrup, then apply cream all over, decorate and serve.
