How to Special Mother’s Day Cake
Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring mothers and celebrating motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, yet most commonly in March, April, or May. It’s almost always that mom has the strongest and the quietest influence on us. She balances so many roles and she does it all with a smile.
Ingredients for Cake:
- Flour – 1 ¾ cups
- Eggs – 4
- Vanilla essence – 1tsp
- Sugar – ¾ cup
- Baking powder – 2 tsp
- Butter – 250gm
In a bowl put butter and sugar; beat with electric beater until it becomes cream. Take another bowl and strain flour and baking powder. Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp of dry mixture and beat well. Then add vanilla essence and beat for 3 seconds. Now add remaining dry mixture, mix with spatula. Transfer this mixture in 2 8” heart shaped cake pans and bake in preheated oven at 180ºC, 350ºF and Gas Mark 4 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Ingredients for Icing:
- Icing sugar – 2 cups
- Butter – 100gm
Beat butter and icing sugar until it becomes cream. Now apply cream on both layers of cake in side and out side, decorate with rose flower and say to your mum Happy Mother’s Day-:)
