How To Make Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

  1. Flour – 1 ½ cup
  2. Unsweetened chocolate – 8 ounce
  3. Butter – 1 cup
  4. Walnuts – 2 ½ cup
  5. Eggs – 5
  6. Sugar – 3 cup
  7. Vanilla essence – 1 tbsp

Method:

  • First of all grease the pan and preheat the oven to 350º F or 325º F, 176 ºC, Gas mark.
  • The next step is to melt 8 ounces of unsweetened chocolate and 1 cup of butter over low heat. While the chocolate and butter are beginning to melt, Remove chocolate mixture from stove and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Toast the nuts ( fry in pan until light brown).
  • Mix 1-1/2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon of salt in a separate bowl with a wire whisk.
  • In a mixing bowl, add 5 eggs, 3 cups of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Mix for 10 minutes.
  • While the mixer is running slowly add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture. If a stand mixer is unavailable, add the chocolate a little at a time between mixing.
  • In this recipe no need to add baking powder or soda, when the egg mixture gets much volume from mixing it for 10 minutes. While mixing gradually add in the flour.
  • Hands stir-in the nuts. Next, carefully put mixture into prepared pan for baking.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Do not over bake. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
  • This recipe makes 24 to 30 squares, depending on how it’s cut.
  • These brownies could be frosted, but it’s really not necessary. They are wonderful just.
