The Classic French toast recipe originated in France, simple to make and that accepts several variants. How to Make Baked French Toast : English – Urdu
Ingredients:
- Bread slices – 6
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Eggs – 2
- Vanilla essence – 1/4 tsp
- Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Plain flour – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg powder – 1 pinch
Filling:
- Cream cheese – 120 gm
- Heavy cream – 1/4 cup
- Honey – 1 tbsp
For serving:
- Chopped nuts
- Mixed Berries jam
- Whipped cream
- Raisins
- Fresh berries
- Maple syrup
- Caramel sauce
Baked Apple Cinnamon French Toast
Method:
- Mix milk, eggs, vanilla essence, cream, sugar, plain flour, cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder until there are no lumps.
- Preparation for filling:
- In a small mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Then add heavy cream and honey, whisk until you get soft peak.
- Apply cheese mixture on bread slice and top with second slice. Dip in the egg mixture to cover everything and then put it in the buttered pan. Cook until it’s light brown from both sides.
- You will have a delicious breakfast which you can accompany with fruits, honey, nuts, whipped cream, jam or whatever you want.

I would say best french toast. I added all of the spices and serving as suggested and enjoyed the taste, I used a loaf of french bread that we had bought the night before, so that made it extra tasty.
