How to Make Homemade Tomato Ketchup

Ingredients:

  1. Red Tomatoes – 2 ½ kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  3. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  4. Sugar – 200gm
  5. Vinegar – 1 cup
  6. Salt – 1 ½ tsp
  7. Spice bag – 1

Method:

  • Wash tomatoes, then roughly chop and cook in a pan, without water for 15 minutes.
  • Then let it cool down and blend and strain in muslin cloth.
  • Now add this puree in a pan, along with 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder 1 tsp, 200g sugar, vinegar 1 cup, salt 1 ½ tsp and spice bag, let it cook until thick paste.
  • When it’s done, let it cool down.
  • Fill dry and clean bottles.
  • Use whenever you want.

Spice bag

  1. Cinnamon stick – 2
  2. Red chilli whole – 2
  3. Long – 1 tsp
  4. Black pepper – ½ tsp

Put these spices in a muslin cloth, make a small bag.
